
Vazgen Manukyan Reelected Public Council of Armenia President
Vazgen Manukyan has been reelected Public Council of Armenia President.
The council was established in July 2008, in the aftermath of the post-election protests in March of the same year.
Its stated purpose, among others, is to represent the interests of Armenian citizens and NGOs in state policy formulation and implementation.
Manukyan has served as president since March 2009.
