Pashinyan Travels to Gyumri on New Express Train
Armenian Prime Minister travelled to Gyumri today on a newly launched electric train that will service the Yerevan-Gyumri route.
South Caucasus Railway, owned by Russian Railways, recently purchased the Russian-made two passenger wagon train from the TransMashHolding Production Co.
Before leaving on his working visit to Armenia’s second-largest city, Pashinyan also visited the museum at Yerevan’s central railway station.
Running non-stop on Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays, the train will make the trip in two hours and ten minutes.
This is the second such express train purchased by South Caucasus Railway.
The new train will depart Yerevan at 9:40 am and 5:15pm. Trains will depart Gyumri at 9:05 am and 5:10pm.
