Armenian PM Nikol Pashinyan has congratulated Syrian President Bashar al-Assad on Evacuation Day, a national Holiday in Syria commemorating the departure of the last French soldier from the country in 1946.

“I sincerely hope that Syria, overcoming the difficulties of the crisis, will soon enter a period of recovery and prosperity,” Pashinyan wrote the Syrian president.
