
Government Allocates AMD 124 Million to Celebrate "Citizen's Day"
The government of Armenia today approved the allocation of AMD 124 million (US$257,000) to organize events throughout the country marking the new holiday called “Citizen’s Day”.
The holiday, which is supposed to commemorate last year’s “Velvet Revolution”, will be observed on the last Saturday of April.
