Gourgen Yanikian's Remains Brought to Armenia for Reburial

The remains of Gourgen Yanikian, nicknamed the “Godfather of ASALA” have been brought to Armenia and reburied at Yerevan’s Yerablour Military Pantheon.

The news reported by a group calling itself the Armenian Popular Movement.

Yanikian, born in Erzeroum in 1895, killed two Turkish consular officials in California in 1973.
