Pashinyan on World Free Press Day: "Armenia Has a Free Press and We Must Preserve It"

Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan today issued a congratulatory message on the occasion of World Press Freedom Day.

“Dear reporters, dear readers, dear TV watchers and radio listeners, and social media consumers, I congratulate you all on World Press Freedom Day. A free press is one of those important values that we have in Armenia today. We must preserve and develop it,” Pashinyan wrote ina Facebook post.

World Press Freedom Day was proclaimed by the UN General Assembly in December 1993.
