
Armenian Defense Minister and U.S. State Department Official Discuss Defense Cooperation
Armenian Minister of Defense Davit Tonoyan and Deputy Assistant Secretary in the European and Eurasian Bureau at the U.S. Department of State George Kent today, in Yerevan, discussed issues related to U.S. – Armenia defense cooperation.
Tonoyan, according to a ministry press release, informed Kent about the status of ongoing defense cooperation projects.
Kent, in turn, presented the position of the U.S. government vis-à-vis a number of international challenges and Washington’s vision for resolving them.
The two also discussed regional security matters.
