Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan sent  the following congratulatory message to Russian President Vladimir Putin on the occasion of Victory Day.

Dear Vladimir Vladimirovich,

Please accept my heartfelt congratulations on our common holiday - the 74th Anniversary of Victory in the Great Patriotic War.

This holiday is the embodiment of a great victory, as well as a symbol of joint struggle and heroism of the peoples of the former Soviet Union. The feat of our fathers and grandfathers, who defeated fascism, is forever inscribed in the heroic chronicle of our peoples, as an example of courage and resilience for present and future generations.

I am convinced that as tested in the war years, our friendship and the shared values provide a solid basis for strategic partnership and alliance between Russia and Armenia.
