Vallex Group Refutes Charges of MP Safaryan; Faults Him with Unprofessionalism
The Vallex Group, a mining conglomerate, issued a statement today denying charges made by Heritage Party MP Stopya Safaryan that the company was engaged in mining operations in the village of Karmir, adjacent to Teghout.
In a question and answer session in the parliament yesterday with government officials, MP Safaryan claimed that according to information he had received, Vallex Group had launched exploratory mining in the area.
In its statement, Vallex also finds fault with the press since the story was picked up by the local media as well and presented as fact.
The company argues that MP Safaryan should have contacted them first before making such allegations and laments the MP’s lack of professionalism.
