Armenia today handed over Azerbaijani citizen Elvin Arif Oghlou Ibrahimov, who was detained while crossing the border into Armenia back to Azerbaijani authorities.

In exchange, Azerbaijani handed over Zaven Karapetyan, an Armenian citizen who crossed into Azerbaijani territory in as yet unknown circumstances, to Armenian authorities.

The Armenian Ministry of Foreign Affairs says the exchange was facilitated by the International Red Cross Committee.
