Boxer Artur Hovhannisyan, from Armenia, was declared champion of the 49-kilogram division at the Second European Games being held in Minsk.

Hovhannisyan beat his rival, Sakhil Alakhverdov from Georgia, by a score of 4-1.

Some 4,000 athletes from fifty countries are participating in the games.
