The director of the Charles Aznavour Art School SNCO in Armenia’s Armavir Province has been charged with large scale embezzlement and forgery.

The Armavir branch of the Investigative Committee says that the director hired his son as a conductor at the school and paid him AMD 7.2 million in wages from 2100 to 2018 despite the fact that his son never showed up for work and failed to carry out his contractual obligations.

The director is charged with handing in fraudulent salary notices for his son.
