Armenia’s Golden Apricot Film Festival kicks off in Yerevan on July 7 and will run to July 14.

There are twelve films from seventeen countries vying for the top spot in the full-length film competition.

25 films from Armenia, Turkey, Iran and Georgia are vying for honors in the regional short film competition.

The festival was first held in 2004.
