Armenian Minister of Education, Science, Culture and Sport Arayik Harutyunyan   today, in Yerevan, met with US Ambassador to Armenia Lynne Tracy and the two discussed programs implemented in the fields of education, science and culture between the two countries and the prospect of further cooperation.

During the meeting, according to an Armenian government press release, the two discussed the process of the program “Strengthening the Inclusive Education System in Armenia” implemented with USAID support.

They spoke about the strengthening of school infrastructures as well as methodological support in educational reforms. The minister and the ambassador also referred to the strategy of inclusive education reforms.

Reference was made to US Government-supported training and exchange programs and their continuity.
