The number of passengers flying in and out of Armenia’s two international airports (Zvartnots in Yerevan and Shirk in Gyumri) in August of 2019 was 399,635, up 15% from the same month last year.

Passenger volume was up 16.3% at Zvartnots, from 329,666 to 383,504.

The number of passengers using Shirak was down 9.5%, from 17,827 to 16,131.

2,092,131 passengers have flown in and out of the two airports since the beginning of the year, up 12% over the same period last year.

Flight departures and arrivals are up by 11%.
