Ambassador Andrea Viktorin, the newly appointed Head of the EU Delegation to Armenia, today presented copies of her credentials to Armenian President Armen Sarkissian.

Viktorin, who served as Germany’s Ambassador to Armenia from 2007 to 2009, said it was a great honor to return to Yerevan.

Sarkissian, according to the presidential website, welcomed Viktorin and thanked the EU for the fundamental assistance it has provided Armenia.

“That assistance existed in the past, it exists today, and I hope it will be there in the future,” said Sarkissian.
