Pashinyan Dismisses Osipyan as Armenian Police Chief

Valery Osipyan has been dismissed as Armenia’s Chief of Police.

An Armenian government press release states that Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan ordered the dismissal but it provides no specifics.

Prior to his appointment as police chief on May 10, 2018 by PM Nikol Pashinyan, Osipyan served as the Deputy Police Chief of Yerevan.
