Pashinyan Honors Those Who Died for Armenia’s Independence

On the 28th anniversary of the Independence of the Republic of Armenia, Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan visited the Yerablur Military Pantheon to pay tribute to the memory of those Armenians who sacrificed their lives for the country’s independence.

Pashinyan laid flowers at the tombs of Sparapet Vazgen Sargsyan, Andranik Ozanyan, and a wreath at the memorial to the fallen freedom-fighters.

The prime minister was accompanied by President of Armenia Armen Sarkissian, President of the Republic of Artsakh Bako Sahakyan, Supreme Patriarch and Catholicos of All Armenians, His Holiness Karekin II, Speaker of the National Assembly Ararat Mirzoyan, and other top officials.
