Armenian, Greek Prime Ministers Meet in New York

On the sidelines of the 74th Session of the UN General Assembly in New York, Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan today met with his Greek counterpart, Kyriakos Mitsotakis, this according to an Armenian government press release.

Welcoming the Greek Prime Minister, Prime Minister Pashinyan noted that Armenia attaches importance to its partnership with Greece, both in the bilateral format and in the framework of the European Union.

According to Nikol Pashinyan, the friendly relations between the two countries and high-level political relations are a good basis for developing mutually beneficial economic as well as other spheres.

Noting his happiness to meet Pashinyan, Mitsotakis noted that the Armenian and Greek peoples are united by historical ties, and the high level of bilateral political dialogue should be used to deepen cooperation in other areas as well.
