On October 14, in Yerevan, Armenian Foreign Minister Zohrab Mnatsakanyan met with Co-Chairs of the OSCE Minsk Group Igor Popov, Stefan Visconti, Andrew Schofer and Personal Representative of the OSCE Chairman-in-Office Andrzej Kasprzyk.

The OSCE Minsk Group Co-Chairs, as part of their regional tour, will meet with the authorities of Artsakh and Azerbaijan.

During the meeting, according to an Armenian Ministry of Foreign Affairs press release, the sides discussed the discussions between the Foreign Ministers of Armenia and Azerbaijan in New York in September this year and the developments recorded after that meeting. The creation of an environment conducive to peace was highlighted and, in this context, the reduction of recent tensions was established.

According to the report, Minister Mnatsakanyan and the Co-Chairs of the OSCE Minsk Group referred to the positions of the parties in the peace process, and in this context the Minister emphasized the necessity of ensuring equality of commitments in the peace process.
