Pashinyan Visits Vanadzor; Reviews Development Plans
Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan, and his spouse Anna Hakobyan, visited Vanadzor today to participate in festivities dedicated to city, the third largest in Armenia, and to get acquainted with the city's development plans.
The first stop of the Prime Minister's visit, according to a press statement released by Pashinyan’s office, was the Karlos Abovyan Vanadzor Museum of Fine Arts, where state and Vanadzor Municipality financed reconstruction is taking place.
The reconstruction, costing AMD 92 million, is scheduled to be completed by the end of the year.
The Vanadzor Museum of Fine Arts was founded in 1974 and is one of the most important cultural centers of Lori, featuring both classical and contemporary Armenian art.
The Pashinyans then visited the Vanadzor Armenia Resort Complex and attended the opening ceremony of the renovated medical building.
PM Pashinyan Minister got acquainted with the results of the investment program, opportunities created for health services.
US$5 million will be invested within the next ten years to rebuild all nine buildings of the complex. "
The Vanadzor Armenia resort is known as a center of mud therapy. In addition to mud therapy, there is hydrotherapy and paraffin therapy.
