Armenia’s Varazdat Lalayan (+109kg) won the European Under-20 Weightlifting Championship in Bucharest, Romania.

The Armenian National Olympic Committee reports that Varazdat Lalayan has beaten the record of European U-20 Championship by 3 kg, setting 424 kg. In the snatch, Lalayan achieved 194 kg and 230 kg in the clean and jerk.
