ARF Supreme Body Members Discuss Political Developments in Armenia with U.S. Ambassador Tracy

Top leaders of the ARF met with U.S. Ambassador to Armenia Lynne Tracy today in Yerevan and discussed political developments in Armenia, this according to a statement released by the ARF Supreme Body.

The meeting, according to the ARF, was the initiative of Ambassador Tracy.

Representing the ARF were Ishkhan Saghatelyan, Artsvik Minasyan, Lilit Galstyan and Ashot Simonyan, all members of the party’s Supreme Body.

They emphasized the need for real, meaningful and coordinated reforms in the republic, while expressing their concern about the unhealthy processes observed in the country regarding constitutional and democratic institutions.

“I value the long-standing relationship of the US Embassy with Armenian political parties, including the ARF. The United States remains committed to supporting its democratic, economic and social governance in Armenia, as it has been for 27 years in our diplomatic relations,” Ambassador Tracy remarked, according to the ARF’s press release.
