On December 4, on the sidelines of the 26th OSCE Ministerial Conference in Bratislava, the Foreign Ministers of Armenia and Azerbaijan, Zohrab Mnatsakanyan and Elmar Mammadyarov, met with the OSCE Minsk Group Co-Chairs Igor Popov (Russia), Stéphane Visconti (France), Andrew Schofer (USA). The Personal Representative of the OSCE Chairman-in-Office Andrzej Kasprzyk also attended the meeting. Armenia’s Foreign Ministry reports that during the meeting the parties discussed the Karabakh ceasefire, confidence building measures, as well as plans to continue working together early next year.

Referring to his recent meeting with the Artsakh Foreign Minister in Yerevan, Minister Mnatsakanyan reiterated the need for the direct involvement of the Artsakh authorities in the settlement process.
