Pashinyan Inspects Newly Acquired Fighter Jets
Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan personally inspected the Russian-made Su-30 SM multifunctional fighter jets that have recently been procured by the Armed Forces of the Republic of Armenia.
Pashinyan, according to a government press release, watched the fighters conduct a series of maneuvers.
Pashinyan was joined by Defense Minister David Tonoyan and Chief of the General Staff of the Armed Forces Artak Davtyan, who described the technical capabilities of the newly purchased aircraft.
“Today is a very important day given that sophisticated multifunctional SU-30 fighter jets have arrived in Armenia. This is our main achievement of this year. That is, the first batch of planes is arriving, and this achievement is of crucial importance for the security of the Republic of Armenia and our people,” Pashinyan said.
