Armenian Parliament Passes Bill to Battle Criminal Subculture
By a vote of 73 to 20, Armenia’s National Assembly today passed a government-backed bill to amend the Criminal Code and the Criminal Procedure Code.
The government argues that the changes are needed to wage a legislative battle against the country’s criminal subculture.
The bill now goes to the president for signing into law.
