Armenian Minister of Health Arsen Torosyan today, by telephone, discussed national and international steps to combat the fast-spreading coronavirus with his Kazakh counterpart Yelzhan Birtanov.

Minister Torosyan thanked Birtanov for transporting one of the Armenian citizens to Nur-Sultan from Wuhan by plane, as well as organizing his stay and medical care before returning to Armenia.

The ministers also touched upon the health agenda of the two countries within the EEU and on the unified regulation of tobacco products.
