Armenian Deputy Minister of Economy Varos Simonyan and Japanese Ambassador to Armenia Jun Yamada today discussed preparations for next month’s visit to Armenia of a delegation headed by Special Adviser to the Japanese Prime Minister Eiichi Hasegawa.

The main purpose of the delegation's visit is to discuss the prospects of Armenian-Japanese economic cooperation and the expansion of business ties.

At the end of the meeting, the parties reaffirmed their readiness to combine efforts and contribute to the development of Armenian-Japanese economic cooperation.
