Yerevan: Trucks Belonging to Company Owned by Special Investigation Service Official Caught Illegally Dumping Construction Waste

Yerevan police today caught and prevented twenty trucks belonging to a company owned by Armenian Special Investigation Service (SIS) Secretary General Davit Sukiasyan attempting to unload construction debris at an illegal dump site.

Arabkir police officials were on site at the newly discovered the illegal dump site in their district when the ML Mining trucks arrived and attempted to unload their load of construction waste.

The Yerevan Municipality says it will fine ML Mining and has taken steps to have its license rescinded.

Sukiasyan started his stint at the SIS in July 2017 as its chief of staff. He was appointed secretary general in June 2018.
