A delegation led by Chief of General Staff of the Armed Forces, Lieutenant General Artak Davtyan, left for Georgia yesterday on a two-day official visit.

Davtyan first met with his Georgian counterpart, Lieutenant General Vladimir Chachibaia, and the two discussed issues related to defense, cooperation in military education and military medicine. 

 Chachibaia also described ongoing reforms in the Georgian Armed Forces.

After the meeting, Lieutenant General Artak Davtyan visited the Tbilisi’s Heroes' Square and laid a wreath at the memorial dedicated to the fallen Georgian soldiers.
