A parliamentary delegation led by Armenian National Assembly Speaker Ararat Mirzoyan, now on an official visit to Denmark, yesterday visited the main office of the Confederation of Danish Industry in Copenhagen.

Thomas Bustrup, COO/Deputy Director-General of the Confederation of Danish Industry and Jens Holst-Nielsen, Director of Market Development, explained the functions of the Confederation to the delegation members and the business opportunities in the Danish market․

 The Armenian delegation members spoke about the business opportunities and favorable legislative environment of Armenia, including the benefits arising from Armenia's membership in the Eurasian Economic Union and the development of cooperation within the framework of the Enlarged and Comprehensive Partnership Agreement with the EU.

At the invitation of the Danish side, the Armenian MPs also visited the institution called "Green State", where they were told about the joint efforts of Danish public and private sector organizations to make Denmark fully dependent on renewable energy by 2050.
