Armenian Foreign Minister Zohrab Mnatsakanyan and Head of the Judicial System of Iran on International Affairs Ali Bagheri met today in Geneva on the sidelines of the 43rd session of the UN Human Rights Council.

The two, according to a statement released by Mnatsakanyan’s office, underscored the high level of centuries-old relations and mutual respect between Armenia and Iran and the growing dialogue on different levels.

In the context of the work and agenda of the 43rd session of the Human Rights Council the parties emphasized the importance of protecting human rights, including the rights of national minorities.

Minister Mnatsakanyan expressed his support to the people of Iran in their fight against the spread of coronavirus.
