Armenian Defense Minister, CSTO Secretary General Discuss Regional Security Issues
Armenian Minister of Defense David Tonoyan and CSTO Secretary General Stanislav Zas today met in Yerevan and discussed several international and regional security issues as well as the further development of the CSTO military component.
This is the first visit of Stanislav Zas to Armenia in the capacity of the CSTO secretary general.
Special attention was paid to the development of the CSTO Crisis Response System and to the enhancement of the CSTO Collective Response Force and peacekeeping forces, this according to a statement released by the Armenian defense ministry.
Zas will be in Armenia until February 29.
