Sixty-two applications have been received for the 2020 Armenia Presidential Award.

Established in 2001, the awards are granted in seven main categories – natural sciences, technical sciences & IT, arts, medical science, physics, literature and the humanities.

Thirteen applications have been accepted for significant contribution to the recognition of the Armenian Genocide.

The number of applications received for the Youth Prize this year is 116, compared to 93 last year.  

The Hayastan All-Armenian Fund is the organizer of the competition. The RA Presidential Award is initiated and funded by the Boghossian Foundation (Belgium-Switzerland). The awards are traditionally presented by the President of the Republic of Armenia and the representative of the Boghossian Foundation at the RA Presidential Residence in May.
