Armenia: Health Ministry Urges Press to Refrain From Sensationalist Headlines
Armenia’s Ministry of Health, in a statement released today, has called on the media to refrain from sensationalist headlines regarding the coronavirus situation in the country that incite an “atmosphere of panic.”
The ministry says that certain media outlets have been falsely reporting that citizens are being periodically quarantined throughout the country.
The ministry says the press should instead have confidence that the health ministry is taking all adequate measures to confront the challenge.
