Restrictions Placed on Air and Land Travel Between Armenia and Georgia
Armenia and Georgia have decided to suspend land and air travel between their two countries until March 24 due to the coronavirus epidemic.
The restriction does not apply to citizens of Georgia and Armenia, and their family members, returning to their home countries, legally resident persons, diplomatic mission staff and their family members, as well as visiting officials.
The Armenian Ministry of Foreign Affairs reports that the restrictions were mutually agreen upon by the two governments.
Regular cargo transportation between Armenia and Georgia will continue.
