
Armenia Shuts Down Several Retail Business Sectors to Prevent Coronavirus Spread
The Armenian government has prohibited the operation of several retail business sectors to prevent the further spread of the coronavirus in the country.
The ban, according to a statement released today by Deputy PM Tigran Avinyan, covers the following businesses.
- Trade centers except retail trade of food, beverages, alcoholic beverages, tobacco products
- Bars, nightclubs, dance clubs
- Movie theaters
- Casinos
- Bookmakers and gambling establishments
The ban will run from March 22 until the state of emergency is lifted on April 16.
