Yerevan: First Day of Lockdown

Saro Baghdasaryan

This video shows a snippet of life in Yerevan after yesterday’s government decision to severely restrict the movement of people to halt the spread of the novel coronavirus. Residents throughout the country can only leave their homes to buy food, medicine, for exempted business activities, and once daily exercise. People leaving their homes must always carry ID and fill out forms listing their names and address, destination, and estimated time of return. Police have been authorized to stop and question anyone outside.

The left over of Soviet style authoritarian Police regime force! Very stupid demonstration! This is a war zone tank painted as police car!
Preston Bagrationi
Flo: Thats not a tank but an armored personnel carrier. It's always good to learn, right?
What's the tank for!?
