The ECHR (European Court of Human Rights has awarded EUR 4,500 for non-pecuniary damage and EUR 1,500 for costs and expenses to Azerbaijani journalist Khadija Rovshan gizi Ismayilova.

Ismayilova, an investigative journalist covering high-level corruption in Azerbaijan, petitioned the ECHR on allegations that she had been the subject of an intimidation campaign launched by pro-government newspapers in 2012.
