Mr. and Mrs. Nikol Pashinyan travelled to Artsakh today to participate in three events marking the victory in the Great Patriotic War, the formation of the Defense Army of the Republic of Artsakh and the liberation of Shushi.

At the Stepanakert Airport, the couple were greeted by Artsakh President Bako Sahakyan and president-elect of the country Arayik Harutyunyan and their wives.

Escorted by high-ranking officials of Armenia and Artsakh, they then visited the Stepanakert Memorial and laid flowers at the monument to the freedom fighters killed in the Great Patriotic War and the liberation of Shushi.

PM Pashinyan and his wife Anna then visited the nearby cemetery for freedom fighters killed in the Artsakh War and laid flowers at the graves.

Afterwards, high-ranking officials of the two Armenian republics laid flowers at the Tank Monument in Shushi and the monument to Commander Vazgen Sargsyan.
