Armenian Minister of Territorial Administration and Infrastructure Suren Papikyan and Chinese Ambassador to Armenia Tian Erlong today, by telephone, discussed the difficulties arising from the cessation of construction on the North-South Road Corridor Tranche-3 program and their impact on the Armenian government’s policy of effective capital expenditures.

The two, according to a statement released by the ministry, stressed the importance of adhering to the project deadlines and requirements.   

"The resumption of construction works on the Talin-Lanjik-Lanjik-Gyumri roads and significant progress will strengthen the atmosphere of trust and mutual understanding," said Minister Papikyan.

During the telephone conversation, Minister Papikian and Ambassador Erlong exchanged views on further strengthening Armenian-Chinese cooperation and overcoming obstacles caused by the novel coronavirus in the implementation of joint programs.
