Armenia: Audits Reveal $980K of Finacial Irregularities in Military
Studies conducted by Armenia’s Military Prosecutor’s Office in the first quarter of 2020 have revealed numerous expenditure and oversight violations within the country’s military amounting to 480 million AMD (US$981,000) in losses.
The violations, according to a statement released by the Prosecutor General’s Office, were mainly dealt with military reserves spending, armament procurement, military medical services, capital construction and housing.
A number of criminal cases have been launched in response.
