Armenia to Spend $876,000 to Renovate Historical, Cultural Monuments

The Armenian government plans to allocate 422 million AMD ($876,000) to refurbish and preserve several historical and religious monuments throughout the country.

For example, the roof of the chapel in the Lori Kobayravank monastery complex will be renovated.

In Kotayk, the reinforcement of Meghradzor’s Tezharuyk monastery complex and improvement of the area; restoration of the Road Builders statue in Charentsavan, the restoration of Ardzagank statue in Byureghavan.

In Aragatzotn, reinforcement of Early Bronze Age dwellings at the Agarak site and the medieval wall.
