Against the backdrop of rising Covid-19 case numbers, Armenian Minister of Health Arsen Torosyan called on all medical specialists to join the fight against the disease.

Torosyan, in a Facebook post, wrote: “Respected colleagues, respected physicians, we need your professional input, your colleagues need your support.”

The minister said that anesthesiologists and ICU doctors were in demand given the 350 seriously ill patients now hospitalized for Covid-19.

Torosyan said that all interested physicians could call the ministry (091190875, 060808003) to apply.

460 additional Covid-19 cases and seven more deaths were reported in Armenia since yesterday.
