The Armenian Police reports that it will continue its intensified monitoring of coronavirus safety regulations.

In a statement released today, the Police say that 28,916 coronavirus safety violations to date have been recorded, including 2,426 just yesterday.

The government has been criticized of late for not effectively monitoring social distancing and the wearing of face masks in public.

The government has responded by cracking down on individuals and businesses that are not complying with the guidelines issued by the country’s State of Emergency Command.

The Police urges the public to adhere to all announced safety regulations.
