Armenian Government Tightens Lake Sevan Fishing Regulations

The Armenian government today approved tightened regulations for commercial fishing in Lake Sevan.

The new regulations ban all commercial fishing in the lake except for whitefish and carp.

Specific laws for fishing these two species have also been issued.
