Armenia: Police Banning Reporters from Border Clash Zones
Police are turning back reporters driving towards the town of Berd, in Armenia’s northwestern Tavush Province, the site of recent border clashes between Armenian and Azerbaijani military forces.
A team of Hetq reporters was turned back today on the outskirts of the area.
Earlier today, the Armenian Ministry of Foreign Affairs reported that Azerbaijan had used drones to fire upon civilians in Berd.
The Armenian Ministry of Defense has called on the media to refrain from entering areas of potential hostilities and conducting live broadcasts.
