Armenian Labor Minister Fined for Incomplete Financial Disclosure
Armenian Minister of Labor and Social Affairs Zaruhi Batoyan has been fined 200,000 drams for improperly filling out her financial disclosure when she served as the ministry’s first deputy minister in 2018.
The Commission for the Prevention of Corruption says Batoyan failed to list 7.515 million drams in revenue.
Batoyan, who says the omission was a technical oversight, has been given seven days to file a corrected disclosure after paying the fine.
