Police in Armenia reported that they detained several officials at Yerevan’s Erebuni District Administration today for demanding and taking a 50,000-dram bribe from a resident to avoid paying a 200,000 dram fine.

The Police did not specify the number of officials detained.

A criminal investigation has been launched.
