A unit of sappers, part of a detachment of humanitarian workers from Armenia, has cleared 33,143 square meters of land in Syria from mines this month.

To date, Armenian sappers have cleared 238,230 square meters of Syrian territory.

The sappers are part of a detachment of humanitarian workers, including medical personnel, Armenia has sent to Syria.
